Description:

A beginner-level class that introduces students to the foundational elements of Kathak, such as basic tatkar, three-beat spins, grace, and hand movements. Students who enrolled in the Fall 2021 session are encouraged to continue in this class.

New York City requires proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter Playwrights Rehearsal Studios. All attendees 5+ years of age must show proof of vaccination to enter the studio space. Those without this proof will be denied entry. Ages 4 and under are exempted from this mandate till further notice by NYC Health Dept.

 

MASKS ARE MANDATORY TO ENTER THE BUILDING!


Additional Information:

All Moksha Arts teachers are fully vaccinated and will teach with masks on. As per studio rules, all students must remain masked throughout the entire class. Parents are not permitted to wait in lobby. 
 
 
In accordance with the new requirements issued by the City of New York that encompasses performance venues, everyone entering Playwrights Rehearsal Studios must present proof of vaccination against COVID-19.  All those eligable for a booster must also show proof. This can be accomplished by presenting the original vaccine card, a photo on your phone, a print out, the Excelsior Pass, or the NYC COVID Safe app,at check in. This applies to renters and their guests.  Children under the age of 5 are currently exempt from this requirement. 
 
Parents and guardians are still not allowed to wait in the hallways while classes occur, and will only be allowed in 10 minutes before and after class to drop off and pick students. All must be masked at all times within the building.
